About Alex Moulton

Alex Moulton is a Group Creative Director at BUCK with two decades of experience building massively appealing brands by blending strategy, design, sound, and technology to solve complex business challenges.

He has led brand transformations for culture-shaping organizations including Apple, Amazon, Betterment, CBRE, JetBlue, Marriott, Sesame Workshop, Williams Sonoma, and Aetna. You’ve probably seen Alex’s work for the high-profile brand launches of Disney+ and HBO Max, in addition to rebrands for more than 30 television networks globally.

Most recently, Alex served as Chief Creative Officer of Oceans 2050, supporting global ocean restoration initiatives alongside Alexandra Cousteau. Prior to that, he was Chief Creative Officer of Trollbäck+Company for eight years, leading brand strategy and design. Earlier, he held senior creative leadership roles at VICE Media and Eyeball (now ModOp), and co-founded Expansion Team, a sonic branding agency and record label.

Alex’s creative path began in film and music as a cinematographer, music video director, and touring DJ, alongside producing music for film, television, and records. His work as a musical artist has been featured in Billboard, VMAN, and Electronic Musician.

He has been recognized as one of Graphic Design USA’s “People to Watch” and has been quoted in Fast Company and The New York Times. Alex lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his partner, visual artist Tatiana Arocha, and their teenager.
